Last Friday, BGS held its mock EU referendum. Following brilliant
campaigns from both Vote Leave and Vote Remain (led by Sixth Formers Sasha and
Lilian respectively), it was great to see so
many students engaging with politics by asking questions, researching facts and
opinions, attending hustings and voting on the day.
After counting the votes in the Library, it turned out to be a decisive victory for Vote Remain with 78.6%
of the vote. Here is a detailed breakdown of the voting results:

Well done to Sasha, Lilian and
their campaign groups for running an enthusiastic and informative campaign.
Also thank you to Dr Massey and all the staff and students who supported and participated in the
referendum.
