BGS Library Activity: Y7 Goodman's

And so the final house to come to our amazing year 7 activity was Goodman’s; definitely last but not least.
We had a great time discussing our favourite books, both fiction and non-fiction, and they gave us some brilliant presentations. In fact, we have to say that they were some of the best and innovative presentations that we have seen this year! You all should be very proud of yourselves.

As the standard was so high, it made choosing a winner all that bit harder. After some lengthy discussions and deliberations, we decided to award first prize to Rosie and Jasmine for their well-structured and well-delivered presentation on their Favourite Books & Authors.

Second place went to a very deserving Taba and Jemima for their innovative presentation on Penguin Publishing using Scratch! In third place we had Matthew and Joe with their very informative presentation on the Library of Congress. Congratulations to all the winners – we hope your enjoy your books!

Sticking with their impressive streak, last week’s quiz saw some of the teams scoring the highest points we’ve had so far! With only half a point between the winner and the runner up, first place went to Team Three.

Well done, Goodman’s. It was an absolute pleasure having you in the Library and we hope to see you in here next year!
