This year the Science Fiction institution that is Doctor Who celebrates its 50 year anniversary. To celebrate, the BBC have reissued 11 books, one adventure per Doctor, and has commissioned 11 current authors to each write a brand new story for e-book readers. These e-books are being released one at a time on the 23rd of each month up until November of this year, and have been penned by authors such as Eoin Colfer and Michael Scott.
To mark this auspicious occasion, the BGS Library has parked its TARDIS by the Issue Desk atop a display of the new Doctor Who books and a selection of some of our favourite Sci-Fi books, graphic novels, audiobooks and films.
Be sure to come down and have a browse. Pick up something new, and if we’ve missed your favourite Sci-Fi title then come and tell us! We’ll be more than happy to take suggestions.
