Goodbye and Good Luck Upper Sixth!

Today we mark the passing of another year and the passing-through of our current Upper Sixth class.  Although we’re bound to see them back for exams, this is their last official day at BGS; a momentous occasion as some have been with us for over half their lives!

As tradition dictates, this morning was dedicated to a thematic “muck-up” in the school grounds.  Previous years have put together pirate flashmobs and zombie dance routines, setting the figurative bar high indeed.

This year?  BGS Tribal.  Bands of combatants from cavemen to cavalry, crusaders to commandos swarmed the lawn and separated ominously into two camps.  Silence fell as each group sent out their champion to lead a haka, immediately followed by a water fight of epic proportions.

An hour later and it’s all quiet on the Western Front.  Spent balloons littering the ground and tribal markings on the walls the only remnants of a morning well-spent celebrating their time at BGS.

Goodbye and good luck U6. May the odds be ever in your favour.
