A Very Short Introduction to Your Next Project

Have you ever found yourself at a complete and utter loss at the start of a new course or project?  Devoid of background information, not knowing where to begin and Wikipedia simply not cutting it?

Introducing the Very Short Introduction Series, here to help ease the path into a vast range of topics.  Published by Oxford University Press, each book is authored by an expert in their field and combine facts, analysis, current discussions, references and enthusiasm to make oftentimes challenging subjects highly readable.

No longer than 150 pocket-sized pages, these guides are a fantastic jumping-off point for research and would be ideal for students taking on new subjects at A-Level, looking at University courses and careers or for EPQ topics.

And for the more visually-inclined learners amongst you, we have also added a selection of Graphic Guides to …, which introduce complex subjects from Freud to Modernism to Thatcher in an accessible way.

All of these resources are available for standard loan and are located on top of the Reference Island at 032, alphabetically by subject matter.
